About Me

I believe one of the biggest factors in change is the relationship between the therapist and client. Change cannot occur if you do not trust your therapist or feel judged.  I strive to make every session feel as safe as possible. I strongly believe every person has the ability to create a life worth living and be free from harmful behaviors and feelings. Therapy is my passion and I find so much joy in helping others live the life they are meant to live.

I have been treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image, self esteem and relationship issues since 2007.  I treat individuals, families, and couples- of all ages, including children using play therapy. I use an integrative approach to therapy, which is individualized to your specific needs.  My therapeutic style is often more directive, as I see myself as a part of your therapeutic process, not a quiet observer.  I use a balance of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques as well as explore how your childhood shaped your current thoughts and behaviors.  I use a strength based approach and help you become your own inner therapist as you learn tools and skills to use to manage your anxiety and mood.
